Kwaxala is an Indigenous-led and majority-owned initiative that changes the way we value living forests. We are building a global network of protected forest areas that create demonstrable impact at scale and generate on-going returns for both forest communities and mindful investors.
Our in progress pilot project is protecting tens of thousands of acres of genuinely at risk British Columbian forest. Simultaneously returning it to Indigenous stewardship and creating a natural capital investment vehicle that allows anybody to hold value in a living forest whilst generating on-going returns.
